How much do you charge to build a website?
There’s not one single answer to this question. A website design is quoted based on the needs of each individual project. Every website is unique and requires different components; I design and develop custom websites specifically for your business. I’ll ask many questions, assess your needs, and give you a price quote based on that assessment. The smallest package starts at $499. How long until my website is ready?
My typical timeline is 3-6 weeks, though it varies based on your project’s size and pace. The input you provide, feedback, and content submission times impact the speed. Functionality and revisions also play a role in determining your unique timeline.
Do I have to be in a certain location to work with you?
I work with clients worldwide. We can connect through email and scheduled calls using Zoom or Google Meet.
Can I update my site myself?
Absolutely! Take control of your website; I encourage it. Upon migration, you’ll have full access to your new WordPress site for easy updates. For more complex changes or maintenance, consider a professional (developer). I even provide tutorials upon completion for those eager to navigate the backend and make minor updates independently.
What is the difference between your various website packages?
I have mainly 3 packages:
- Templated Website: You’ll get a website built starting with a pre-built template and tweaked according to your samples provided, directions, and brand guidelines. It’s budget-friendly and fast to be delivered.
- Custom Website: You’ll get a customized web design from scratch based on your provided samples, directions, and brand guidelines. It’s still budget-friendly and best for you to get a unique design just for you.
- Branded Website: You’ll get a website built from scratch with branded wireframes and compelling copywriting based on a crafted brand strategy. It’s the best option for those who want to create a unique web design with copywriting that converts visitors into leads and customers.
Will you maintain my website for me?
I can help maintain your website, or you can do so yourself with the more minor changes. The choice is 100% up to you. I provide ongoing support for many of my clients but it is not mandatory and you will not be charged a monthly fee. You can contact me if you require updates to your website and I will provide an hourly quote or a fixed price based on your requests.
Do I get hosting and domain services?
No, you’re responsible for website hosting and the domain. This ensures full access to your website upon migration. I can recommend hosting packages (like SiteGround, Godaddy, and Bluehost) and complete the migration, including my website design package pricing.
Is my website mobile-friendly?
Absolutely! A mobile-friendly website is crucial. I work diligently to ensure your site is responsive on modern devices and browsers.
How much input do I have in the web design process?
A lot! Your input is crucial. We will start with questions about your needs, likes, and wants. Together, We’ll develop the right look and functionality. If you opt for the branded package, I can craft your brand messaging story and write compelling copy. I work with a team to make your valuable ideas come to life.
Who writes the website content?
You provide all the text content. You’re the expert on your business, and it’s best if it comes from you. If you need assistance, my branded website package includes crafting compelling copy for your website.
Do you create only WordPress websites?
Yes! WordPress is the best content management system, powering over 42% of the World Wide Web. Its flexibility and ease of use make it the top choice. Whether you need a minimal, informational site or a custom one with specific functionality, I’ve got you covered. I’ve worked with various industries, all on WP.
What if I need help down the road?

Is SEO included in my website build?
No, the website build doesn’t include monthly SEO. While Google sees all items that we add to your website including text, photos, and video, this doesn’t guarantee you will rank #1. What is Stock image sourcing?
If needed, I help you find free stock images from platforms like Pixels and Unsplash. Your assistance and direction are crucial to selecting the perfect images, photographs, graphics, and vectors for your website and brand.
What forms of payments do you accept?
Upon agreement, I accept Debit, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and PayPal.
